KCA provides child development with a warm loving touch, group and individual learning programs to challenge the child’s mind, encourage self-esteem, nourish their physical bodies with hot, healthy meals as well as nourishing their spirits!The Kirkwood Christian Academy (KCA) was founded in in 2001 as a Christian learning and day care center for children aged 18 months to 12 years. KCA is open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and offers before and after school care. We are conveniently located at 1440 Sunny Glen, off Highway 67 North between Loop 12 and Brook Valley. Early Start is the pre-school curriculum used to provide activities at KCA. The goal is to enhance the four important stages of growth and develop the whole child! We offer activities designed to develop cognitive, physical emotional and social skills for our students. KCA provides a comfortable environment equipped with clean and spacious learning and play areas including a full gym. We provide after-school pickup services as well as field trip activities. Certified and licensed, KCA accepts Child Care Management Services (CCMS) and City Assistance subsidies. Schedules and Fees Day care age 18 months to 4 years $95.00 Before school care $45.00 After school care $30.00 Drop in $20.00 a day Late pickup fee $10.00 Registration Fee $50.00 (Non-refundable) School closings KCA will be closed each year on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July Holiday, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Other scheduled closings will be notified in writing to parent or guardian and posted on the KCA doors.
