A BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO
REV. ERIC FOSTER
|

Reverend Eric E-Jermaine Foster
is the son of Shawnee Foster. He was born in Flint, Michigan where his
mother and grandmother, Arlean Turner, raised him in the church.
Reverend Foster attended Flint Northern High School, where he was a
member of the band. He furthered his education by earning his Associates
Degree in General Studies from Mott Community College. He is currently
attending the University of Michigan – Flint in pursuit of a Bachelors
Degree in Secondary Education with a major in music and a minor in
history.

Reverend Foster was a member of Saint Peter
Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Flint until 2005, where he
served as a trustee and choir president, and was a delegate to the
Connectional Youth and Young Adult conference. He then moved to Saginaw
and became a member of Saint Luke Christian Methodist Episcopal Church,
serving under his father in the ministry, Reverend James C. Hendricks.
During his time at St. Luke, he was a Sunday School teacher, choir
director, trustee, and liaison for the youth, young adult, and
children’s department.

In August 2005, Reverend Foster united in marriage
to Andrea Janelle (McGhee) Foster. The Fosters are blessed with two
beautiful daughters, Ericle Jaslyn and Audrey Jacina.

Reverend Foster accepted his calling into the
ministry in May, 2005. He was ordained Local Deacon in 2007 and Elder
in 2010. In July 2010, Reverend Foster received his first charge as
pastor of Mask Memorial Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Lansing,
Michigan.
