Dr. Willie C. Champion is the Presiding Elder of the Dallas District

Of the

Christian Methodist Episcopal Church

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, and welcome to the Dallas District Web Site.

The Dallas District is one of the districts that make up the Dallas/Fort Worth Region.  The Dallas/Fort Worth Region is one of the five Regions that make up the Eighth Episcopal District, which is under the supervision of Presiding Prelate Bishop Marshall Gilmore. There are twenty-two (22) churches in the Dallas District. There is one church in each of the following cities:  Corsicana, TX; Ennis, TX; Mesquite, TX; Plano, TX; McKinney, TX; Whiteright, TX; Van Alystine, TX; Dennison, TX.  There are two churches in Sherman, TX and ten in Dallas, TX.  Each one of these churches have as its primary goal and thrust, the "Saving of Souls" as commanded by Jesus the Christ in Matthew 28:18-20, coupled with the "spreading of scriptural holiness all over these lands" as directed by the Father of Methodism, John Wesley.

It is my prayer that as you browse this web site God, by the power of His Holy Spirit, will bless and empower you in all that you undertake to do in building up the Kingdom of God.

Yours in Christ,

Rev. Dr. W. C. Champion,

Presiding Elder, Dallas District
